Auto repair business Dr. Beemer opened at 8901 S. First St. in April. Dr. Beemer had been subleasing space at Big Boys Collision Center, 1013 W. Slaughter Lane.

Impact Family Church began holding services Jan. 6 at Clint Small Middle School, 4801 Monterrey Oaks Blvd. Led by Pastors John and Alison Larkham, services are held on Sundays at 10 a.m. The church was previously called World Harvest Outreach Church.

Austin Oaks Hospital opened May 21. The 51,420-square-foot, $17 million facility is located at 1407 W. Stassney Lane. Providing mental health care for children and adults, the hospital has 80 beds and outpatient services.
