CleanFUEL USA CEO/Founder Curtis Donaldson said the company will launch two new programs in 2012.

After losing more than $600,000 in inventory and the company’s operating space in a fire June 2, CleanFUEL USA CEO/Founder Curtis Donaldson said the business is back to operating at a sustainable level.

The fire destroyed the company’s headquarters at 116 Halmar Cove. The firm, which manufactures and distributes fuel stations, dispensing devices and engine systems for alternative fuels, moved back into the building in the second week of January.

In January, CleanFUEL launched its first Cutaway program with General Motors for the G4500 van, which is CleanFUEL’s first line of fleet vehicles available at GM dealerships. The company also expects to launch a similar program in November with Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp., a subsidy of Daimler Trucks North America, to convert a General Motors engine to an 8-liter propane engine with CleanFUEL’s liquid propane injection system.

“We have two significant events—one in January and one in November,” Donaldson said. “By the end of [2012], [they] will significantly change our operations.”
