I often hear about the features of Community Impact Newspaper that readers enjoy, such as the Impacts, which feature business openings or businesses planning to come to the area; the real estate listings; dining profiles; and a number of others.

I recently had a neighbor tell me he and his wife rely on Community Impact Newspaper to help them plan outings with their grandchildren. That was one I hadn’t heard. They live in West Lake Hills but wanted to explore beyond their own backyard.

Our Community Calendar has a wealth of information about fairs and festivals, event openings, camps, book signings, concert series and lessons of all sorts. These events are not only listed in the paper, but also on our website. In fact, we offer even more listings in the online calendar, as we’re not bound by the space limitations of the newspaper.

This couple had discovered Central Park in Bee Cave through our calendar and had taken their grandchildren there for an afternoon.

Sometimes the perfect place or event can be just minutes away, but the discovery is right at your fingertips. We love being that “connector,” helping businesses, organizations and residents find each other. It makes us very proud to work for such a valuable news organization.

To find more event listings—we’re adding them constantly—or to submit an event associated with your organization, visit www.impactnews.com/ltw-calendar.
