The Oasis on Lake Travis gets two new stores

Fireside Gallery, known for representing artists rom around the world, will open the first phase of its Oasis location in September.

"It's the first branch out we've done," Clint Howard, owner of Fireside Gallery said. "It's exciting and new."  

Howard is excited about the quality of the space available at Oasis—There is green space for him to display larger pieces of art—as well as the quality of the traffic, he said.

Fireside will start with a smaller space with a viewing station where customers can watch an artist work on a piece, as well as different hands on stations. Depending on the initial success of the store Howard may build out to the full space available to him, he said.

Taste Texas will also be added to the Oasis shopping center. Taste Texas provides Texas made jerky, sausage, sauce, salsa, spice and more. All of the products are made by local farmers in Texas.
