The Pflugerville ISD board of trustees voted May 3 to extend Superintendent Charles Dupre's contract to 2015.
This is the second time Dupre's contract has been extended, according to a news release issued by the city, and he began as superintendent in 2006.
“I am honored by the opportunity to continue serving the Pflugerville ISD community,” Dupre said in the news release. “It is a blessing to work with such a dedicated Board of Trustees, staff members and students, and to live in a supportive community that values a strong school system. There is truly no better place to be than PISD.”
