Celebrate the benefits of Parks and Recreation in Austin with It All Starts in Austin Parks!, a Parks promotional campaign that includes a 23 concert series, “Music in the Parks.”
The campaign kicked off at the Zilker Hillside Theatre, 2100 Barton Spring Road, on Dec. 7. The next event is Dec. 22 and will move to neighborhoods in the coming year. The events are free and open to the public. Parks Benefits campaigns are a nationwide effort to educate the public regarding the health and social benefits of parks and recreation.
