Dripping Springs ISD will begin allowing advertising on the district’s website and in school publications during the next school year.
District Information Officer Dale Whitaker said advertising will go on the school calendar and the “New Tiger Guide,” a document given to families who are new to the district.
Advertisers may also be able to reach out to employees through email messages. Whitaker said the measure is expected to generate $25,000 in the first year. A logo licensing program may earn another $1,000.
