It would be great if Travis Country on Southwest Parkway was connected via COA Greenbelt which is at corner of Loop 1/290 access road and Southwest Parkway, which is TOO dangerous to walk. We have NO way to walk to shopping or eating out. Access, in the opposite direction, is via very rough terraine. We are a group of 1,500 homes and were the FIRST green built neighborhood, regarding land use, in Austin. Please help us get to Sunset Valley safely by foot or bike.

Travis Country has access to the trails in question, a trail head is located in the wildflower preserve at Travis Country Circle and Republic of Texas. This trail goes parallel with SW parkway, continues under mopac, and ends at the above mentioned trail head by Sams Club and Specs. Go out and explore your neighborhood Betty Mading; Travis Country has 4 access points to various parts on the greenbelt and countless other trail systems contained in the neighborhood.
