Construction on the Williamson County Emergency Services Operations Center is set to begin in January. The 30,000-square-foot facility will house personnel from county departments including 911 communications, emergency management and the Hazardous Materials Response Team as well as some staff from the Sheriff’s office and the Williamson County and Cities Health District. The facility will be built in the 2000 block of Inner Loop, and construction is expected to last 410 days. www.wilco.org
