New Year’s High Noon Countdown
The Woodlands Children’s Museum hosts its annual High Noon Countdown for children who want to join in on the holiday celebration. The event includes crafting New Year’s hats, a bubble wrap dance, horn blowing, noise makers, live entertainment by Tom’s Fun Band and a balloon and confetti drop at Noon. Cost is free with the price of admission. 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

New Year’s Eve Party with The Derailers
Ring in the New Year with The Derailers’ classic country and 60s pop sounds at Dosey Doe’s Big Barn in The Woodlands. Dinner is served from 6-8:30 p.m. and includes salad, choice of entree and beverage. Party favors and a midnight champagne toast are free. Tickets include dinner and are $78 for obstructed view, $98 for normal view and $118 for premium view. The Derailers begin playing at 8:30 p.m.

3 Ways to Ring in the New Year
Main Event offer bowling, billiards and laser tag for its New Year’s celebration, among other games and activities. Passes per person are $17.95 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., $21.95 from 5 p.m. to close and $15.95 on New Year’s Day. Prices don’t include bowling shoes, but free party favors are provided.

New Year’s Eve 2012
Crush Wine Lounge celebrates the holiday with two different DJs and a never ending buffet. Those looking for a relaxing evening can celebrate with jazz in the lounge while excitement seekers can celebrate on the rooftop with dance beats. Join the Magnolia Education Foundation in its fundraiser for Magnolia Independent School District Students. Time Square Entertainment New Year’s Eve Celebration
Attendees can play laser tag and maze, take advantage of unlimited bowling and play acrade games while counting down to the new year.
