Locatelli’s Pizza, which recently opened a location in Tomball, offers cuisine reminiscent of east-coast style pizza.
Although the name suggests the restaurant only sells pizza, Locatelli’s offers an extensive menu, which includes signature pizzas, sandwiches, pasta and appetizers. We ordered a 17-inch pepperoni pizza that had a thin crust with just the right amount of crunch. The cook was generous with the toppings, as there was plenty of cheese and pepperoni to go around.
The signature and regular pizzas are available by the slice, or in 13 and 17-inch pies. Names range from the CarnaTelli, which includes sausage, pepperoni, ham, ground beef and bacon, to the TexaTelli, which offers sausage, red onion, jalapeños, banana peppers and red bell peppers.
Prices for many of the pizzas and entrees are reasonable, but there are several lunch and mid-week specials that won’t break the bank. Every Tuesday, Locatelli’s offers a 17-inch, one-topping pizza for $10.99, and on Thursdays, diners can purchase two 13-inch two-topping pizzas for $16.99. There are several daily specials as well, which include a range of pizza, pasta and salads.
Locatelli’s is easy to find and located in one of the newer strip centers on FM 2920, just west of Hwy. 249. Inside, patrons can watch one of several flat-screen televisions attached to the wall while they wait for their meal.
While Locatelli’s offers several daytime specials, there are still plenty of options for hungry families at dinnertime to ensure the new restaurant is successful.
