Nothing Bundt Cakes has a soft opening planned for Aug. 20 in The Woodlands.
When Bindya Patel was searching for a baked goods company that shared her passion for value, excellence and quality, she knew she had struck frosted gold with bundt cake chain Nothing Bundt Cakes.
Patel's store is set to have a soft opening Aug. 20, with a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting Aug. 24. The bakery will feature the line's signature cakes, which range in sizes from the Bundtinis (sold by the dozen, $16.50), Bundtlets ($3.99 individual, $45 in a Bundlet Bundle Box), and their traditional eight and ten-inch Bundt cakes ($18.50- $29.50 for an eight-inch, $28.50 - $39.50 for a ten-inch).
The nostalgic baked goods are made with fresh eggs, real butter and cream cheese and come in flavors like lemon, marble, red velvet, praline, chocolate chocolate chip and carrot.
Patel said the white chocolate raspberry flavor is her absolute favorite.
“Once they had just come out of the oven and I ate one without the frosting and it was just so delicious,” she said.
Patel said she aims to make ordering, which can be done on the phone or online, as easy as possible for the customer. The company also delivers.
The store will be situated next to Trader Joe's in The Woodlands Crossing Shopping Center, off of Kuykendahl Road and Woodlands Parkway.
“We've got quite a bit of space,” Patel said, “We were really looking for a high traffic area and just a good shopping center with good stores and I think we found it.”
Patel said the symbolism of baking, food and being a family-oriented business was very attractive to her and the other store partners.
“It's so fun; we're really thrilled,” she said.
