Do you like this?

Each week at On the Town, we will bring you posts on live music, events and recently opened restaurants and entertainment venues in the area. Here's what we'll be covering this week:

  • Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival―a wrap up and slideshow of last weekend's 7th annual event, which featured 200 juried fine art and fine craft artists from 36 different states and three countries, along with performing arts, food, wine tastings and an "art of food" chef demonstration tent.
  • Locatelli's Pizza―the pizzeria, which originated in Cypress, opened a new location in the Tomball Marketplace last week. Pizza, pasta, salad and sandwiches are offered for dining in or to go.
  • Texas Crawfish & Music Festival―the 26th annual event kicks off this Friday and features live music on three stages, hundreds of vendors, karaoke contests, carnival rides, interactive games and children's activities. The fun continues through Sunday and returns again next weekend. Headliners for this weekend include Rhett Miller, Marcus Ardoin, Leon Chavis & the Zydeco Flames and Stoney Larue.
  • Art Walk, Tomball!―the second of Tomball's outdoor events planned for the spring is set for Saturday and will include more than 35 artists displaying their work, more than two dozen “art shops” along the walk and a performance by The Grateful Geezers closing out the festivities.

Which event will you be attending this weekend? Let us know in the comments section below.
