- Lone Star College-Montgomery presents "Peter Pan"―The drama department's production of the beloved musical will run July 13-14 and 20-22.
- Sunny Dai's Cafe―The restaurant, which opened recently at 1000 W. Main St. in Tomball, serves fresh, made-to-order organic breakfast and lunch. The cafe serves a variety of entrees, including homemade waffles, local eggs, corn dogs and chicken fried chicken.
- Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers―the first Houston location opened in June at 15518 FM 529, Houston. The restaurant sells hamburgers, hot dogs and patty metls, along with chocolate and vanilla custard.
