John and Becky Litton opened Spongekinz Learning Center on June 4 at 1800 Sam Bass Road. The Littons previously ran an in-home day care that specialized in small groups and have adapted that concept to an out-of-home setting with their small group learning lab. Children ages 6 weeks to pre-K socialize in large groups and visit the learning lab in smaller groups throughout the day.
