Greater San Marcos Partnership, an economic development group that serves Hays and Caldwell counties, works with the Texas State Small Business Development Center to promote economic growth. Amy Madison, president and CEO of the partnership, was appointed to the Texas Economic Development Council’s Board of Directors during the group’s 50th annual meeting. Her appointment represents the first time a board member has been chosen from the San Marcos area.
