Austin Restaurant Week kicks off this weekend

Starting Sunday, area residents can dine at more than 60 Austin restaurants for a fraction of the normal cost. Founded by Rare magazine, Austin Restaurant Week coordinates fixed three-course dinners at established and new eateries from $25–$35 and lunches for $10–$15. The biannual event, which follows the national restaurant week trend, began in 2007 with the idea that eating out shouldn’t always mean stretching your wallet.
