Carolyn Schwarz wins 2009 Under 40 Austinite of the Year

Carolyn Schwarz, executive director of the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, was named the 2009 Austinite of the Year during the 11th annual Austin Under 40 Awards Gala on Feb. 27. The event at Austin Music Hall, 208 Nueces St., raised more than $60,000 for the Austin Sunshine Camps and the Young Women's Alliance Foundation.

The awards show, dinner, silent auction and raffle was held by the Young Men's Business League and Young Women's Alliance and was sponsored by many local and small businesses. For more information, visit www.austinunder40.org.
