Sunset Valley Farmers Market moves, new market added

In a surprise announcement, the Sunset Valley Farmers Market is changing its name to Barton Creek Farmers Market and will locate to a location at Barton Creek Square Mall, in the parking lot near Dillard’s. The market, which made the announcement Mar. 15, opens for business this Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be open every Saturday year-round rain or shine, as it had operated previously.

Capital Metro to open Red Line March 22

Capital Metro announced today its passenger rail service will open to the public March 22. This is six years, $105 million and one contractor change since the project was approved by voters in November 2004.
