In response to recent rainfall, Tarrant County commissioners repealed the countywide burn ban today. Controlled outdoor burns of brush, limbs, grass clippings and leaves are now allowed between sun up and sun down. The burning of trash and building materials is prohibited.
The Fire Marshal's Office is also reminding residents to inform their local fire department before burning, stay with the fire at all times and keep water nearby. For more information, call 817-838-4660.
