  Dream City's green "coming soon" sign has been updated. Executive pastor Michael Heflin said the multipurpose building (including sanctuary) is on track to be completed by this September or October and phase 1 of the amphitheater will be finished in October to November.

  Inside the Sanctuary

  Michael Heflin, PromiseLand West executive pastor, stands in what will be the sanctuary for the new Dream City religious facility. The room will be able to hold about 1,000 people. The stage behind him is designed to be lower to the ground to create a more close-up experience for attendants.

  Children's area

  This room, located next to the main sanctuary, will be dedicated to children's activities. Executive Pastor Michael Heflin envisions this room as having several uses, such as a meeting place for youth groups and activity center for teens.

  Future amphitheater site

  More is going on in this picture than meets the eye. The pad for the amphitheater stage has been built (flat area in the background). Folding seats will be in front of the stage. Fixed seats will be built where the land starts to slope up. Combined seating capacity will be close to 1,000 people. The lawn area will be located in the middle- and foreground of the picture.

  One intention for the amphitheater

  One use for the amphitheater may be to draw local youth who might not otherwise go to a church event and introduce them to a community that could help them navigate the challenges of adolescence, Executive pastor Michael Heflin said.
