The eighth annual “Swing, Drive and Putt; Save a Kitty and a Mutt” golf tournament will take place at the High Meadow Ranch Golf Club. Prizes are awarded for the top teams in categories such as longest drive and closest to the pin. Proceeds will go to support the no-kill animal shelter’s new 7,500 square foot Dog Facility and Spay/Neuter Clinic, which is under development. 7 a.m. (registration), 8 a.m. (shotgun start). $125 (entry fee includes a lunch buffet, green fee, cart, coffee, goodie bag and door prize drawing), $150 (entry fee includes a raffle ticket for a helicopter ride or YMCA membership, door prize, mulligan and Bubba driver).
