The third annual run/walk and an additional 1K Kids Fun Run benefit the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Montgomery County to provide volunteers with a way to aid abused and neglected children. The event includes a disc jockey, raffles, refreshments, prizes, awards and a variety of activities promoting health, fitness and discovery for attendees. Children ages 12 and under may participate in the 1K Kids Fun Run. $10 (1K), $40 (5K race-day registration).
