Forty chili cooks from across Texas compete in Tomball’s first chili cook-off. The event features competitions in two divisions—one for local businesses and one for members of the Chili Appreciation Society International. Winners in the CASI-sanctioned event receive points toward competing in statewide finals. In addition to chili competitions, a margarita pouring contest takes place. Live music is provided by Mike Stroup and the Acoustic Crackerjacks. All proceeds go to support local veterans organizations. Admission is free.
