Meet the teacher, learn about the course, ask questions and register.
The course will be a fun intensive on the human body, everything from skin, bones and muscles to nerves, organs and the brain. The workshop will be project-based with a focus on developing knowledge, critical thinking and increasing awareness and understanding. Children will explore and develop an understanding of anatomy, physiology, neurology, body systems, how individual body parts and systems function and how everything works together (or doesn’t work so well). Nutrition will be a big part. This is a science class that includes reading, writing and some math.
Classes will be held Thursdays, 11 a.m.–1 p.m., starting September 26. Eight students maximum. Tuition: $400 (Classroom materials, supplies and equipment included).
The September 12 open house will feature a student activity, so per-registration is required at Director@SchoolhouseA.com
