The annual Red, White ’n’ Buda Independence Day Celebration begins with a Children’s Parade on Main Street featuring decorated strollers, bikes, wagons and more. Live music begins at 6 p.m., and a fireworks display starts at 9:30 p.m. 8:30 a.m.–10 p.m. Free. City Park, 204 San Antonio St. 295-7170. www.ci.buda.tx.us
