The East 1488 Emergency Preparedness Fair

The East 1488 Community Association and the East 1488 Community Emergency Response Team holds a free emergency preparedness fair to help residents become better prepared for a disaster or emergency situation. Representatives from the Montgomery County Search and Rescue, Hospital District, EMS and other organizaiotns will be on site to provide information and answer questions. The event takes place in the Home Depot parking lot. Home Depot is providing free shopping bags, a kids workshop and hotdogs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. It will also have representatives providing tutorials on how certain tools can be used during an emergency.
