Cimarron Hills sold to Arizona developer

GEORGETOWN — Georgetown’s Cimarron Hills Golf and Country Club, 200 Cimarron Hills Trail West, is under new ownership. Desert Troon Companies acquired the property effective Dec. 31, 2009, and formally announced the change Jan. 25.
Desert Troon's plans for Cimarron Hills Golf and Country Club include new club operations and future residential developments.
Golf community developer Desert Troon owns properties similar to Cimarron Hills in California and Arizona, where the company is based.
