The Hutto City Council selected architecture firm Antenora Architects to begin negotiations for a contract to complete the city’s facilities study.

The facilities study could include plans for a new city hall and a multi-use complex at the Co-op site at Hwy. 79 and Short Street, depending on what needs are assessed in the facilities study, said Diane Mehaffey, City of Hutto internal services manager.

Antenora is an Austin-based architecture firm that has completed projects in Austin, including Penn Field and the Anderson Mill Retail Center.

The firm was selected from a group of 20 companies after a Request For Qualifications process that included interviews and an onsite visit to Penn Field.

A contract could be brought to the council for approval in July.
