The Round Rock ISD Health Services Department will be offering  seasonal FluMist, H1N1 FluMist and H1N1 flu shots on Dec. 7 at 4 p.m. at the RRISD Performing Arts Center, located at 5800 McNeil Rd. in Austin.

RRISD families will be allowed to line up beginning at 3 p.m., and vaccines will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The clinic will close once all doses have been administered.

The Williamson County and Cities Health District has provided the district with 1,100 doses of the H1N1 vaccine and 590 doses of the seasonal FluMist vaccine.

Vaccines will be available to RRISD students and their siblings, ages 2 to 18 years old, and a parent or guardian must accompany their child to the clinic.

FluMist can only be administered to children ages 2 to 18 who do not have asthma or reactive airway disease and are not allergic to eggs, gentamicin or gelatin.
