Whole Foods announced July 26 it has plans to open a new store in northwest Harris County in 2014.

The store will be located at the corner of Louetta Road and Cutten Road, down the street from shopping center Vintage Park. The new location will be about 40,000 square feet, said Mary Langdon, Whole Foods Houston community relations coordinator.

“The store will be reflective of the vibrant community surrounding it,” she said.

More information about the store’s format will be available in coming months, Langdon said.

The new grocery store is one of several moving into the northwest Harris County area, as construction started on two local H-E-B’s earlier this year.
