CEDAR PARKElizabeth Vargas, anchor for “ABC News 20/20,” will moderate a town-hall forum about Doctors Without Borders with frontline aid workers, journalists and thousands of audience members in movie theaters across the country, including Cedar Park.

Medical humanitarian group Doctors Without Borders is known for its work in war-torn regions and developing countries facing outbreaks of disease.

The roundtable discussion will follow the documentary “Living in Emergency,” which tells the story of four doctors who face overwhelming medical needs in Third World countries. Doctors Without Borders gave a documentary crew unlimited and uncensored access to its field operations in war-torn Congo and post-conflict Liberia.

The discussion at New York University’s Skirball Center for the Performing Arts will be broadcast live via satellite after a viewing of the documentary on Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cinemark Theater, 1335 E. Whitestone Blvd., Cedar Park. Visit www.fathomevents.com/doctorswithoutborders.
