Cedar Park Veterans Memorial board releases artist renderings

CEDAR PARK — The Veterans Memorial Advisory Group seeks public input to help decide which one of five finalist submissions should be used for Veterans Memorial Park.
Four artists' work is on display at the Cedar Park Public Library, 550 Discovery Blvd., in Cedar Park through the end of February. Community members can submit written comment on the renderings at the library or can visit www.cpvetmemorial.org to offer feedback.
The artists include Cindy Burleson of Austin, Bob Coffee of Austin, Gregory Beck of Fort Worth, who has two submissions, and John Jagger of Leander.
The group has raised more than $55,000 to build and promote the monument; the group has set a goal of $100,000, and construction is expected to start later this year.
