Wingstop
Wingstop

With its seven tables, walk-up counter and basic menu, Wingstop offers a low-frills but personable take on the neighborhood wing joint.
The locally operated franchise sells nine flavors of wings and boneless buffalo strips. The entrées are complemented by traditional side dishes such as seasoned fries, cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans and vegetable sticks. All sides and several sauces and dips are prepared on-site.
Sauces are thick and on the sweet side with a relatively tame spice level, even among the hotter varieties. The wings are non-breaded, allowing the flavor of the sauce to stand out over the fried layer.
The dining area is cozy and relatively quiet. Two televisions are mounted unobtrusively in the seating area, enough to pique the interest of fans without crossing into the realm of a louder sports-bar atmosphere.
