Fairy Godmother Foundation plans Prom Fair

Any girl in need of prom attire and accessories can borrow these items for free at the Fairy Godmother Foundation’s Prom Fair from 10 a.m.-4pm. April 4 at 208 W. Bagdad Ave. in Round Rock.

A parent or legal guardian must be present with girls younger than 18, and all girls must have their school ID or most recent report card to verify school enrollment.

The Fairy Godmother Foundation provides teenagers with gowns, shoes, jewelry and accessories for prom, homecoming, dances and special occasions. Founder Keri Byer began the nonprofit in 2006 when a co-worker told her about a girl who could not attend prom because she could not afford a dress.
