Texas Stars open Ice Girls tryouts

Women who love dance, cheer and Zambonis will have a chance to shine as Ice Girls.
The Texas Stars Hockey Club wants women to represent the team during home games and promotional events as the Austin Diamond District Ice Girls.
The American Hockey League team will be the primary development affiliate, also known as a farm team, for the NHL’s Dallas Stars.
Ice Girls tryouts are open to all women 18 and older. No skating ability is required.
The Texas Stars will hold the tryouts April 25 at 9 a.m. at Gold’s Gym, 1335 E. Whitestone Blvd. in Cedar Park.
