BCRUA leaders elect new board president
Monday, 20 April 2009
The board of directors for the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority voted unanimously to elect Mitch Fuller president at a recent meeting, according to a BCRUA press release.
Fuller, who also serves on the Cedar Park City Council, replaces Round Rock’s Scott Rhode, who resigned as president of the board in February.
“I am honored to serve as the President of the BCRUA Board of Directors and represent the City of Cedar Park on the Board for this important and necessary regional public works project,” Fuller said. “I am pleased to work with the Cities of Round Rock and Leander on this project, which serves as an example of regional cooperation.”
Fuller thanked Leander Mayor John Cowman and Round Rock Councilman George White, who both serve on the BCRUA board, for their support. Fuller has served on the board since July 2008.
The BCRUA is a partnership between Cedar Park, Leander and Round Rock formed to address the water needs of the cities and their extra territorial jurisdictions.
