Announces "Latinas Celebrating Achievements"

 


The Girl Scouts of Central Texas and the Hispanic Women's Network of Texas (HWNT)  Austin Chapter, two premiere women's organizations in Central Texas, invite you to "Latinas Celebrating Achievements" aimed at educating up-and-coming young ladies in leadership roles and providing women with professional development training.

 

Latinas Celebrating Achievements is a first ever event which will engage women of all ages to celebrate achievements in education, government, civic and entrepreneurial arenas. Break out sessions will allow for training and conversation with leading women in the community for both the girls scouts attendees and the women looking to advance their careers.

 

The event is targeted at professional women and young ladies ages 12-17 years old. It will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Bob Bullock Museum located at 1800 South Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78701.  More than 100 women are expected to attend.
