GO TEXAN kicks off Texas Wine Month with a restaurant round-up

The Lone Star State is kicking off Texas Wine Month with the GO TEXAN Restaurant Round-Up.
The GO TEXAN restaurant program, established in January 2008 as a part of the Texas Department of Agriculture's GO TEXAN Certification Program, links participating Texas restaurant establishments to local producers and other Texas-grown or processed food products to bring the quality of Texas to the table.
For the round-up and kickoff, Sept. 28 to Oct. 2, local restaurants are offering special menu items and donating a portion of their proceeds to local food banks.
