ROUND ROCK — Because of the threat of severe weather on Thursday, Oct. 29, Round Rock’s Fall Fun Fest will be held indoors at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center, 1600 Gattis School Road.
The family festival, which will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, is a free event for toddlers and preschoolers with carnival games including haystack hunting, cookie stacking and spider ring toss. Round Rock Public Library staff will read books at the festival, and guests can climb on board a fire truck, go on a hayride and bring trick-or-treat bags to collect goodies.
Guests are encouraged to bring canned foods for Round Rock Area Serving Center. For more information, call the Clay Madsen Recreation Center at 218-3220 or visit http://www.roundrocktexas.gov/home/index.asp?page=1385.
