PFLUGERVILLE24 Hour Fitness will open a new location in Stone Hill Town Center by the end of the year, and a 10-screen Cinemark movie theater is also slated to open in the Pflugerville development in late 2010 or early 2011.

The fitness center will occupy a 45,000 sq. ft. space west of The Home Depot, and the theater will be located at the end of Town Center Drive, the center’s main entrance off of the southbound Toll 130 frontage road near Toll 45.

David Meyers, senior vice president of brokerage and leasing at NewQuest Properties, said plans for the 24 Hour Fitness are being finalized and construction will begin within the next few months. No opening date has been set for the Cinemark, Myers said.

“They should have the ability to open by the end of 2010, but not the obligation,” he said. “It will be the end of the third quarter this year at the earliest, or the first quarter of 2011 at the latest.”

Another Cinemark theater, the Cinemark Tinseltown 20, is open at 15436 FM 1825 in Pflugerville. 24 Hour Fitness’ nearest locations are at 1208 N. IH 35 in Round Rock, and 12400 N. IH 35 in Austin.
