Pflugerville sees increase in holiday shopping sales

A February report from the Texas State Comptroller’s office indicates that Pflugerville’s holiday shopping sales were up 4 percent from shopping season 2008. For the first two months of 2010, sales tax revenue has increased 11.9 percent over the same period last year.

City of Pflugerville seeks explanation, solutions for unforeseen project costs

A slate of City of Pflugerville road improvement projects will likely cost about $9 million more than city engineers originally budgeted, according to new estimates presented to the city council Dec. 8. Additionally, a project to build a new storm water detention pond initially budgeted at $2.6 million is now expected to cost between $6 million and $8 million.
