Suddenlink Communications, a cable broadband provider serving Austin, Leander, Georgetown, Hutto, Pflugerville and Round Rock, was named among Women in Cable Telecommunication’s top five Best Operators for Women in Cable for 2008.
WICT, in collaboration with Working Mother Media, conducted surveys of forty companies and released the results Nov. 17. The groups’ 2008 PAR Initiative examines and ranks companies in the cable telecommunications industry according to three criteria for advancing the role of women in the workplace: pay equity, advancement opportunities and resources for work/life support.
