Williamson County voters cast 1,637 ballots by the evening of April 30, the fourth day of early voting in local elections. The number is significantly lower than the voter turnout during the May 2008 elections, when 3,895 ballots were reportedly cast within the same period, according to Williamson County records.

The highest daily turnout thus far in this year's elections occurred April 30, with 472 people casting ballots. That number compares with the 373 Williamson County residents who voted on April 29, 460 on April 28 and 332 on April 27, the first day of early voting. The Georgetown Administration Building at 603 Lakeway Drive experienced the highest turnout, a total of 216 voters.

Early voting will continue through May 5. Election Day is May 9. For more information on polling locations and hours visit www.wilco.org/elections.
