"We're proud and excited to be able to expand our practice and facilities to meet this demand in such a state-of-the-art facility with increased capabilities."

Adjacent to the St. David's North Austin Medical Center at MoPac and Parks Bend Drive, St. David's Women's Center of Texas is a new hospital dedicated to the comprehensive healthcare needs of women.

The move has almost doubled their previous office space and examination rooms from 15,000 sq. ft. to 28,000 sq. ft.

"Our vision for patients at Austin Area OBGYN is easy access to quality women's care," said Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director Mark Akin, M.D. "Medical and laboratory needs are routinely fulfilled at our office on a single visit, eliminating time consuming extra visits to other facilities for lab and radiology procedures."

Austin Area OBGYN will continue to offer full body scans for the diagnosis and management of osteoporosis. The practice is also increasing its sonography capabilities by 50 percent. The office has an operating room for many procedures previously performed in hospitals. For more information, visit www.aaobgyn.com.
