September’s corridor highlights new residential and commercial developments off William Cannon Drive and Manchaca Road.
— Austin Fire Department Station 20 is located at 6601 Manchaca Road.It opened Jan. 23, 1974, and serves the surrounding area with four firefighters. Call 974-0130.
— Garrison Park is located at 6001 Manchaca Road. The 40-acre park has baseball fields, softball fields, a swimming pool, trail, basketball courts, playground, picnic tables and barbecue grills. Call 974-6700.
— Cunningham Elementary School is an Austin ISD school located at 2200 Berkley Ave. It was built in 1962 and houses 550 students in grades pre-K through fifth. Call 414-2067.
