City council adopts “no-kill” animal services plan, $12 million contract to build east Austin animal shelter

Members of the Austin City Council voted unanimously Thursday in favor of a plan to reduce animal euthanizations, and also unanimously approved a $12 million contract to build a new animal shelter in east Austin.
